2001 Camaro

I have a 2001 3800 series Camaro, I made it into a project for me. I wanted to mess with it and try to build it in a different way. Now I'm no mechanic genius but i do know about certain things that has to deal with the obvious: starter, transmission, etc easy things like that. But I want to add power to it and give it to my little brother possibly when he graduates. I want to add a bigger engine which I know will be difficult. I'm not sure what size but no bigger than a 5.7 at the most. If I switch it to a v8 what all will I have to do besides the transmission and rear end? If I'm wrong in anything I said just correct me, I'm only 19 so I have plenty learn, pls help me

Re: 2001 Camaro

I would just put a turbo on the 3800. 400 to 450 hp would not be that hard to come by, more if you wanted.

Re: 2001 Camaro

How much can a turbo for a 3.8 be found for? And would anything else have to be upgraded?
