2000 V6 specs
hey guys, im new here, and am looking for some info on the 3800 V6 used in the 2000 camaro. its not going in a camaro, its part of my frankenstein project, and is currently mounted into a 1977 MGB. a few things i need to know.
does anyone know what the rating is on the fuel pump for the v6? i need to know if i need to get a stronger pump than what was supplying the old 4cylinder.
Did the 2000 have the Pass-key system? i have heard that i will need to overide this system inorder to get the fuel injectors to fire on this engine. but if there is no pass-key system i should be fine.
i think that is all the questions i have. i ave the engine, tranny, ecu and most of the wiring harness that i will be using in this car. if anyone has any tips on this please let me know.
thanks,
matt

Re: 2000 V6 specs
It does have a pass key setup, I believe you can rig up a resistor to bypass it.
sounds like a cool project.
as for everything else not quite sure what you should expect.
They do have 3 o2 sensors... so not sure if you will be getting a light for that if you don't have a setup.
