I have a 2000 camaro 6 cylinder was riding at 65 mph and the engine died have power for lights and door windows but will not turn over will not jump anybody has any ideas

 

Well since you're new I'll go ahead and try to trouble shoot you but for future references, you're in the wrong forum, this belongs in the V6Tech... Now as far as your car dieing - we need more specifics. You were driving and your car died while you were in motion? Was it showing any signs of hesitation within the past 5 - 10 minutes before it died? Does it even TRY to crank or when you turn the key is there nothing at all?

From what I hear it SOUNDS like you have a bad alternator and you were driving completely off of batter and your battery still has enough juice to opperate the Windows and interior lights but not enough to crank or opperate the engine. Also check your cables, make sure you dont have corrosion on them or any loose grounds.
