1999 Camaro V-6 to V-8 Engine Swap

I need to know what is involved in installing an LT 1 V-8 in the Place of my sick v-6. I have a LT 1 that is out of a 98 z-28 complete With Computer & Harness.

The 98 cars didn't have the LT1, they had an LS1 motor. Not sure which you have.. I would check out the Hybirds forum on LS1tech.com There are several 4th gens on there that have gone from V6 to LT1 or LS1 platforms.

You will need an LT1 K member and LT1 mounts for a start.

Definately find out if the motor you have is an LT1 or an LS1, big differences in swapping.

Those are sites you need to look at...the top one is if ur swapping an LT1 and the bottom is for LS1...I have a bunch of good swap sites if you need more just PM me.
