1998 3.8 blown camaro... need information about swapping in another 3.8

Ok there is a rod knocking in my current motor and it is down to about 25 on the oil pressure guage. I have been searching around the junk yards for a 3.8 out of another camaro. I know to find another one out of a 1998 camaro or firebird would be the easiest to swap but i can't find one.. So other than that which years are the easiest to swap with a 1998 or are they all the same ? I found a 1996 camaro with 65k miles for $400. What has to be done to make a 96 work in my 1998 ? Which wireing harness will i have to use and such ?

I read the post alittle below mine and i reliazed that the 96 to 98 is almost and identical swap, but what about the wireing harness and such ?

they are the same engine except for the throttle body going in a different direction everything should go together pretty easily. I'm not quite sure the exact date camaros were swiched from OBDI to OBDII but i believe it was 95 so you should be good to go.
