Hey guys, Im getting me a 89 V6 and i was hoping you could provide me with some info on the first few mods I should do to it as I acumilate money.

Unless the struts are worn or some thing a 3rd gen V6 take turns like it is on rails.
Big difference between my V6 and Z28 is in the turns.
And at the pumps about, 4 or 5 mpg difference on the high way.
First thing I can think it might need is for you to rip the intake manifold apart and clean out 17 years of EGR soot.
Then block off the EGR to keep it form coming back.

Is the '84 a V6 also? I'm thinking that the '84 will probably be carb'd, while the '89 is multi-port injected. All things considered, I'd definitely take the '89 with the fuel injection.
I think it'd be fun to put a 4.3 in a third gen, just need these mounts and a v8 tranny
