150MPH Speedometer
I'm looking @ a 1998 Camaro 3.8 5-Speed car. The owner has a 150-MPH speedo in the car. He says when he changed the speedo the mileage of the car didn't change because it is stored in the computer not the cluster. IS THIS TURE? I'm pretty sure the speedo in the car now came from a 2000 Z28 so I think it has more miles than it is showing. Any input?
Thanks

well i don't know about the milleage but i do know that the tach is a little off. the speedo part is correct the the tach is off. hardly noticable at low rpms but very noticable at high rpms. might want to check out www.v6fody.com and look under v6 faq. they have a section talkin about switching a 150 speedo into a v6 fbody. l8tr
