1 Piece Driveshaft
I got mine installed when I had my new transmission put in.
It won't add any power, per se, but it lowers parasitic drivetrain loss slightly, as well as allowing the motor to rev higher more quickly due to less rotational mass.
It's best in conjunction with other mods. For example, if you're doing a rear-end swap, you might as well put in the one-piece while you're at it.

If you have the money go for it. You wont notice a big difference it seems to free up the wheels some. I think I can burn out a little better. I did it myself, its not too hard the worst part is pulling out the old driveshaft. Mainly un bolting the carrier bearing is the worst part. If you do it, after un bolting everything you might need to tap the end of the shaft with a hammer to break it free from the u joint coupling. Then push it in some and pull it out of the tranny. Now you have to pull it out its easier to pull it towards the front their is more room. Putting the new one in is not too bad. Lineing it up to the back u joint coupling is the hardest make sure to keep the u joint ends taped together until its in. Once you have it lined up all thats left is bolts.
Definately worth the money! For only $25 you can get a one-piece steel and save about 10 pounds of rotating weight.Easy swap, easy mod. Also the 1-piece will be a LOT stronger than the 2-piece so you'll have the added benefit of strength if you ever start seriously modding your car.Good luck.
