Ok talk **** to, My car may not run 12.4 stock but when I raced him it was froma a roll, just like a turbo car racing somebody from roll they have a better advantage, hell we were going 90 I dont thinj we were going to slow down in the middle of hwy to a stop. Second vettes are smooth and they look good, iLIKE THE WAY THEY RIDE AND RIDING IN MY COUSINS VIPER TOTALLY A SMOOTHER RIDE IN THE VETTE.....

now, has anyone else noticed the chang in personalities on this guy, he may be possesed or something. i was enjoying reading this then i saw the 8.7 1/8mi on a basic stock motor with street tires. whats your 60' times and the mph on that 1/8? with my little 230 236, 3:73 gears on street tires i only got a 8.9 with a 2.2 60' (nitto's will hit the track for the first time tonight).

i wont flame yet you have done a good job on your own, but seeing how you invite people from half way across the country here is your formal open invitation. prarie hill saturday night. take I35 south to waco, exit on hwy84 drive straight about 40mi more, you hit a very small town with one store(prarie hill). turn right on F.M. 339 about 1mi, on the right side of the road is an old airport that is used for drag racing. $12 to run all night. heads up. they have lights times, and tomarrow me, will you be there?

it is about a 2 1/2hr drive are you up to it?

Second i was in Austin this weekend, so i couldnt make it... but of course you the 14 second troll can sure talk lip....lol try putting amsoil full synthetics in maybe you will get 13.9lol

 

Let me put my opinion in here:

I would blow the doors off of you without any question (from a stop or a roll). ZO6's at my track trap anywhere from 113-117mph stock, so I am pretty even with them. You seem to be a far cry from them. You would give a stock C5 a good run from a stop, but thats it. Racing from a roll with gears is no good. Want an example? Here is one:

I raced my buddy's bolt-on 97 cobra (288rwhp/284rwtq) and we went from a 3rd gear roll @ 70mph and I gave him the jump. I only had him by 4-5 cars by 110mph! Thats all! Then we went from a 2nd gear 40mph roll and I put about 9 cars on him. Us geared fbodies pull harder down low, not from a roll.

Also, when I ran on street tires with only 301rwhp/338rwtq I ran a best of 13.3 @ 105.8mph on street tires. I'd suspect you would be another .2/2mph fasterwith the 4.10's and little bit more power. Lets say you ran a 13.1 @ 108mph, thats a far cry from a well driven ZO6, and from a roll the ZO6 really shines.
