my friend has a 98 GT and they are 225hp/300tq.....96-97 were 215 i think and like 285 tq, i know they were less.....98's are actually decent quick, friend put pro ripper, sfc's, sportlines and cobra wheels and ran 14.6 but only at 94mph, these stangs are only useful of the line then they suck i can rape his car. but ya thats my .02 for the thread

Alright guys thanks for all the tips/information. Im just going to practice on my launching.

Ohh i went ahead and raced him again tonight. I got about the same start as our last race atleast im getting better and got a little more sideways than i wanted but by second i've passed him and stopped at like 100.

LOL, I like how your friend definately put money into power mods to attain that 14.6... Typical stang owners... Wait till he gets flowmasters on it, he'll have a race car on his hands then!

96 / 97 = 215

I hit the wrong key. 96-97 215 and 98 225.
