I raced a Z06 a while back (as some of you may have heard from me and left him bad) on my way back from mission raceway. I walk in to Lordco the other day to buy some nitrous jets and the guy working there (as I know him) says > Duane, a guy came in looking for some new mods for his car and the lordco guy says, curious but why? They are fast already! Z06 guy says > I just got walked on by a Supra on my way back from Twassen. (sorry for spelling) Lordco guy says > WAS IT WHITE with a BLACK hood! Z06 guy says yeah. Lordco guy says > thats Duanes Supra and kinda thought cool and laughed... Funny thing is that I only raced one guy in a Z06 with race gas and it was good timing. He he he(old set-up) Hoping to get me for next time he says but I have a new bigger turbo again LOL (didn't run bottle to race him but boost alone)

I thought it was cool to have someone tell the story how it happened. It was a lil more to it that what I wrote but to just throw in the kill!

I now have the power I did before on pump gas.. and maybe a lil more soon.

Are you the guy with the white supra and a black hood, pay attention to where I am from......Were you at mission last fall and thought you could beat that yellow vette........If it is you you got smoked.......Otherwise keep telling the story, I would like to know youre mods......That helped you beat that vette.......

I have never raced a yellow vette but a dark one and as I said was on the way home from Mission and not AT Mission

I did however race a yellow vette in my 4 door Cutlass and SMOKED him at mission. (It was a convertable) I ran a 12.67 @110! It was a C5 though. Are you talking about a C5 or Z06.

My Supra last year (with old set) ran 122 MPH in the 1/4 and 12.5 STREET tires. I always race in the import class. This year should be different since I have more power (still trying to get this tuned) and will (hope) to have some slicks. I now have the rear end for it! Just to get installed.

My Supra is white with a black hood yes > but at mission? Never raced a vette and not even on the street. (maybe) I don't think so. IF I run on the street when I was on the old set-up it was tuned for race gas so I coudn't up the boost on pump gas. This newer set-up is different and I can run my old WHP set-up on pump gas with this set-up. Race gas has much more power.

You can ask Payam how fast my car is as I raced him on the way home too. and! he used his tank

There was a black supra with a white hood last year racing a yellow vette but he got beat down somewhat fiercely, my comment was in the sentence, was it you which you answered it was not, then just in case it wasnt , like you said I wanted to know what helped you beat the vette on the street......The race that started the post.....

I think I am the only Supra with a black hood in my generation. You must have been mistaken. If it was a 4th gen Supra (Fast & Furious style) there is one with a black hood.
I am the ONLY MKIII Supra (old school) with a black carbon hood as I make them and know who I sold them too.

As far as the comment on the street. I was on the way back from mission and had race gas in. My car as I stated ran 12.5@122 MPH on STREET tires. Since my car HAD 450 RWHP I had no problem beating him. I have a friend that has one in seatle and dynoed this week with some mods and did a 400 WHP. The one I raced may have been stock?? Anyhoo > I killed it.

Do you know the guy that so called raced me? or if it was me? Show the time slip please.. My supra last year ran 12's on street tires all year. What did the vette run? and was the vette a Z or a C?

I dont know either guy, the supra or the vette, but I know what I saw that day, as a bystander.........Sorry about the confusion my post said black supra with a white hood and my second said white supra with a black hood.....It was black with a white hood and is easily to get confused.....I know of more than one running around but One of them is running around with more decals than a complete paint job..........If you say it was not you then it was'nt,
but that vette was very aggresive, ................

I know most guys here that own a Supra and have never seen a decaled/stickered up one around. I even asked my other buddy and he said same thing. I am at the track almost every riday night. What date was the track? I need to know who it was racng. Maybe it wasn't a Supra??

Well that explains it then.. My car is the older gen and is from 86.5-92 and the newer Supra was 93-98 body style. Having said that > I still would like to know who owns that car. Hmmmmmmmmm
