WS6 Out of Luck
Going to the store last night and I'm get behind a Red WS6. In the other lane is a 00-03 GT. The light turns green and they both launch pretty good, the WS6 is quickly ahead by a car or two and stays ahead until they shut it down for the next light. The GT pulls off to the gas station and now the WS6 is lined up with a newer Ford truck. The light turns and the WS6 is gone.... the truck didn't even bother. So I'm watching this Red WS6 slowing by cars that were up ahead and reving it up and taking off and just trying to show off or whatever. I was like, well hell if he wants to pick on everyone in town....he forgot about me. I manage in and out of the other lane to get up with him and pass him and begin reving her up while I pass. Well the next light turns yellow and I stop. He keeps on going, damn near running the red light. I eventually catch up with him again and a escort in front of me moves behind him to allow me to line up.
( The guy in the escort was probably dying to see this showdown!)
I let him hear my exhaust reving to 2800rpm, the light turns and were off, I nailed an awesome launch with moderate tire spin and jump on him out of the hole. I got him by a car and throw it in to second and hammer down again. My car lost traction when I hit second and my car gets sideways. That was enough for him to catch up a put a car on me. Third gear is mine as I retake the lead and fourth I'm pulling away pretty good. His car was damn quick and I don't know what mods he has but we raced over a 1/4 mile and I put on the brakes at around 135, so I know we were past a quarter mile. He was only about 3-4 cars back when I tapped the brakes. A little shot of NOS and he would have had me. Hell of a race and tons of respect for the WS6's.

He must have had some mods to run with an 11 sec LS1.
Since you are charged I would suspect he was too or had a top end package to hold with you somewhat.
Good kill though in the finish.

I would definetely say he wasn't stock by any means. I ran a stock WS6 once before and it wasn't close. Bad driver?? Thanks!
There's some guy running around here with a Viper .....not in a hurry to see him!
