It's a non-S/C cobra...I would like to think you would win, but it's probably a drivers race.

EDIT: only on your part though beings how his is an auto...it's there for you to win or lose.

I just dont understand these people who buy "almost-new" cars and get autos. Whats the purpose of buying a fun and sporty car w/ auto transmission? Its like driving a mean minivan or something.

Because some people like the consistancy of stalled autos. If you have ever raced a high stalled auto with stickey tires out of the hole I bet you were playing catch up

Yea but the majority of the people who get the autos are ***** whipped bitches ...

They buy them cause they dont know how to drive a stick/convince them selves its not practical. For a street car, I could never see buying an automatic sports car ...

Have you evern been to a 1/4-mile track before to see what most of the serious cars there use for a transmission?

F.Y.I., 3/5 4th gens. have automatic transmissions. I guess we're all ***** whipped bitches.

for me nothing can replace the feel of a clutch, even if the auto car was faster i would still go with a manual.

The auto Mach 1's are quite a bit slower than the manual ones. The automatic Mach's have a lower redline (5,800 rpms) than the manual version (6,800). I like your chances.

I was under the impression that newer auto mustangs are alot slower than their manual counterparts. So in this case, I say you will win

Re: What do u think, Me Vs. 2003 Mustang Mach1

Not to high-jack this thread but I have beat the **** out of alot of Automatics on the "Street" with way less mods BUT on the other hand I have gotten beat many times at the "Track" by the same Automatics I owned on the street. A4 will be the ultimate beast at the track "all about ET" but M6 will own the street "all about MPH"

I think the Mach might get you just do to his trap speed being a tad more than yours....even though he was on e.t. streets.....he will be a little quicker on the street with the smaller OD tire "more gear"

Good luck and post the results!
