Walked a BMW 325

Last night around 1am I was on my way home from the 24 hour diner with a friend in my car and another friend on his bike. The highway was empty and me and my friend on the bike were playing around alittle, god that thing is faasssst (01 RC51). So anyway I see headlights coming up pretty fast in my rear view and I thought maybe it was a statey so I hit the brakes down to 60. Turns out to be a mind-late 90s BMW 325. He is now right next to me and I look over and he starts laughing. I see his g/f in the passanger seat and thought "OH, IT'S ON, Mother F*cker!"

We were pacing each other at ~80mph at this point. I let him take the jump and put 1/2 car on me. I downshift from 6th to 4th and instantely stop him and just walked him up to 120mph and I let off. I look back and he's a good 2-3 cars back. At this point my friend on the RC BLOWS BY (later said he hit 170). I let the Bimmer come up to me and see if he wants seconds; doesn't even look over. Of course, I had to blow his g/f a kiss I took my exit and went home.

Re: Walked a BMW 325

With the old engine in my SHO, I was neck and neck with a 330Ci 60-110 twice in a row. There was a 325 nearby that tried to defend the 330Ci's honor - not a chance. We left him behind so fast it was laughable.

Re: Walked a BMW 325

I have only raced one BMW, it was some guy in a convertible 330 CI.
I was in a stock 95 Z28 (A4, 2.73s).
From a stop or a roll, he got raped.
Its terrible how badly he was left behind.
I guess he thought he had a muscle car?

I am still waiting for that M3 vs. GTO race

By the way, why do you hate them?
I can't say I hate any thing BMW produces automobile wise. I've driven everything in their 2005 line up (3,5,6,7 Series, X3, X5, Z4), besides the M series of cars. I was impressed with everything, even though it wasn't my cup of tea. That is why I like the GTO that much more... It can stand toe to toe with the 3 series in build quality, materials, ride and handling, then kick its *** in performance. The main difference between a 3 series and a GTO is the 3 series has the "Little Attention to Detail", such as heated seats, sun roof, opening rear windows, back seats that don't take a year to get into, etc...

They don't put out any power for racing. Did you ever doubt that you were going to win?
