Unbelievable!!!

Driving home from work yesterday and I spot a newer Camaro SS coming up from behind me and pass me. ( I was doing like 50 or so!) Well right on his *** was a 00 -04 Stang GT and he passes me also. I decide to catch up and see what happens, I'm right behind them and they get next to each other and gun it. The Stang was audibly loud, didn't hear much at all from the Camaro. Well, the Stang just rapes this guy. So I'm like impressed! We get to a light in the next town and I line up with him and the Camaro is behind me now. I revved her up and floored it. It wasn't even close , don't know if he gave up or what, but after about an 1/8 I had the Stang by three cars and it was getting worse. Well I go a little way and turn into a little rinki dink store. I get out and I see the Camaro pull in. This car was bright red and gorgeous! I made small talk with the guy and asked what was up and he said he was having engine problems. I told him maybe I could help and asked if he could pop the hood . He didn't want to pop the hood! Well I get over to the drivers side complementing his ride and notice his speedo only went to 120. I'm talking this car had the hood, rims, rear spoiler, badges, etc. So I ask him what his build number was and he said like twelve thousand out of nineteen thousand or something. I laughed and realized this dude was driving a 6 cyl with SS badging and body parts. I just shook my head and said no wonder that Stang smoked you, you make us look like ****** with your car. UNBELIEVABLE!!

LOL my friend saw one like that at a dealership...

And one of my other friends wants to trade me his 3.4 "Camaro" badges for my "Z28" badges. I'm seriously considering taking him up on the offer.

It would be soooooo much fun driving around town like that. And whoever said that having the performance model look just like the base model was a bad thing?

I was out today and saw a '98 or so V6 Camaro with SS badges......its just that he didn't have the hood, spoiler, or wheels.......or any exhaust. All he did was slap some SS badges on it.

I was at a car show the other day and there was a v6 camaro impersonating an LS1 SS. It had a magnaflow exhaust, ss spoiler and rims, gauge pod, ss hood and when I looked under the hood I saw a nitroused v6 People are driving all over MA bragging how they spank an SS.

My point exactly! If you want to clone an SS for looks that one thing, but when you get out here on the street and get your *** handed to you by an inferior car, that's another. These other cars really think they're smokin an SS . I guess as a SS owner it just pisses me off !

The fact that he did not want to pop the hood...like any f-body guy would not have figured it out.

What a tool.

Glad the V6 "SS" got his *** handed to him...rightfully so.

I know the feeling . There is this guy at my work who does nothing but talk about how fast his car is and how it's a stick shift ect..... I asked what kind of car he had and he stated a V-6 SUPERSPORT SPECIAL EDITION . I could not believe what I just heard come out of his mouth . He not knowing I know a little bit about f-bodys , I asked him tell me a little about it , he said it's 1 0f 600 made and it came with SLP ss rims, hood and spoiler and is really, really fast .. Anyways, to make along story short I broke his car down peice by peice untill he admitted that there was no such thing as a v-6 ss special edition .

OMG what is the world coming to?

I cant really stand SS badges on a Z28(somewhat acceptable, though..to each his own..as long as you dont lose ), much less on a V6!

People like that are not only degrading the Camaro itself, but the owners of them.

This crap has to end! I bet that mustang guy talked about that for months!(People only hear what they want to hear and see what they want to see and dont ask questions 90% of the time)

Man I wish I was there....

yeah i guess i got a little worked up...

I feel much better now, though...since I did the no-cut wire mod, JUST got finished. Looks great!

Working on my car always puts me in a good mood, unless Im REQUIRED to...

Naw its just this...

If you saw an so-so chick with huge *** **** and took her home only to find out it was just a bunch of paper towels...how would you fell about that?

I guess I feel the same about my car as anything else thats important in my life, so it offended me...lol

the only thing worse than ss posers are z28 guys that talk so much BS, their breath starts smellin like BS. i was at the car wash today and there was a z28 in front of my car going though. i complimented him on his car and asked what he had done. i heard it and figured flowmaster, and intake and thats it. he said he had flowmaster exhaust, a chip(in a 95??) and a shift kit. then he said he had his ram air hood and intake on the way, along with his thing to program the computer(why is this needed if he already has a chip?)

so then i ask if hes had it to the track, he says ya it runs low 11s. i about lost it and laughed right in his face.. i kept my composure long enough to hear him say he is gettin headers and nitrous soon. so i asked if he had a cam and heads package or a supercharger, he said no.

i just left, i couldnt talk to this moron any more,
