I was driving down the highway when I see a blue spoiler going over an over pass I knew it is a wrx. After the guy merges in with us my friend tells me it is a sti and I say to my friends prepare to be raped. Well at that point I am 100’ ahead of him and gaining so slowed down the cruse from 70 to 68 a mile passes he still has not caught up so I slow down to 63 and he finally passes and doesn’t even look over. So I pass him look pass him for a minute he wont look over so my passenger said just go so I down shifted in to 3rd had had him by two to three cars and I missed 4th at that point the came fling by me like a bat out of hell and didn‘t even look over. Did it one more time this time i got raped from the beginning
Moral of the story
3.8 v6 4th gen with 3 people in the car full tank of gas and subs v sti = bad beat

 

No kidding its close to a 12 second car in stock form...you didnt stand a chance in the world...good runs though

 

i just wanted to see it go

 

Hopefully this didn't come as a big suprise...

 

Closer to mid 13's than high 12's, and they generally trap 101-102 mph, which is what count for a highway roll like this.

Either way, unless the V6 is heavily modded, you aren't going to keep up with the STI.

seen numerous ones on the wrx boards hit 13.1-3's and 12's w/ tires stock...w/ the average everyday joe driving your probably right
