Squeezed '96 Z28 v.s. '67 Camaro w/ Squeezed 355

This was a run I had with a very good friend of mine, for the second time. We had went at it once before and I beat him pretty bad because he claimed he spun very bad. So I agreed to run him again.

His modds were 355, double hump heads, 1.6s, victor junior intake, holley 780, small Lunati street cam, headers 3in exhaust, 4.10s 12blt, th350 w/ 3,4k stall, 150 shot. His best ET at the track was @ 11.49 @ 117.

My mods at the time were cai, ported/d-screened MAF, SLP cat-back, weight reduction, 150 shot. My best ET was a 12.10 @ 115 with the slipping stock A4, 2.73s, stock stall.

I was on a Nitto DR, he was on a Hoosier QT pro.

We line up after burnouts. He gives me the pop. I take off going to the spray almost as soon as I rolled off. I hooked dead up and was off. He left really good. almost right with me, but just wasn't keeping up. Byt the end of the marked off 1/4 I was about 2 cars out.

NOTE: My buddy had just switched from a dominator intake to the vict. jr. and that ended up being what hurt him. He ran at the track the next weekend and couldn't get out of the 12s...
