Last night, My brother-in-law and I went to Hooters for some grub....on the way back we cruised a few times through the city and on the way back ran into a 2000-2002 C5. It was red and it had a cute spoiler. Nice car to say the least, with exhaust. We ran twice from a 40mph roll to about 110mph, I pulled strong both times by 3-4 car lengths......but the third time, on a long straight...side by side, from a 40mph roll he pulled on me very hard....5-6 car lengths within 200 yards or so. We pull up to the light and chat. He claims that he has an intake on that C5 that is aftermarket. Well, whatever, no way that it was an intake because my Bother in law has a 04 Cobra with pulley and exhaust and he pulls just as hard as the vette did and he has well over 450rwhp. Just though I would share.

 

Nitrous can take care of that c5. But unless it was a z06 i find it hard to beleive it pulled that hard on you with just a intake.

 

No, definately not an intake, but nos, He definately had it...his car even sounded a bit diffeent when he passed me. LOL I should get nos but kinda intimidated by it.
