Ok i raced a guy with a rsx type s that had an exhaust intake and carbon fiber hood, and beat him now he want to run for money and i found out he got a 50-75 shot of nitrous. Do you guys think i will be able to take him, his a preatty good driver. Ill have a cutout by the time i race him, and mods on my sig.

 

well how badly did u beat him the first time is one question....my guess is that u trashed him pretty hard. anyway, if he has nothing in the sense of drag radials or a more sticky tire, that nitrous is gonna def overcome the traction of his tires. Kid I knew put a 75 shot on his car and cant hook for his life in first or second gear when it hits.

Go from a stop and watch him smoke his tires as u pull away.

 

I think you'll still win either way,but definately go from a stop and watch his fwd pos try to hook hehe...he'll be seeing taillights in no time

 

With your mods, even saying he does hook from a dead stop... the torque generated by the LT1 will leave him crying breathless... Bet him everything in his pockets

Was he using the nitrous the first time? How bad did you beat him? If it is more than 3 to 5 cars I would take his money.

 

He's trying to butter you up and take your money. Run N/A first then challenge someone and spray them. I'd say there's a good chance he knows what he's doing, and probably will even be running a higher shot than that. If it were me, to protect my money and make him cry like a baby- I'd put the spray on my car too if you can find a kit.

 

the rsx type s only have a 160 hp stock so depending on what he has done to his car, which only sounds like NOS, even if he hits it with a 100 shot, you should still be able to kill him, even with a stock lt1 they push 320 hp.

How much money is he asking to put down???

 

The type S has 200 hp, base rsx is 160.

since when did LT1's have 320 hp. Yeah if you didn't dominate him N/A he might be trying to hustle you.

200+75 shot = 275 which is base LT1 power, now do the 15% loss and what not and they will come out to be the same power, the RSX weighs less, but the LT1 makes far more torque. It could go either way I suppose, I think the launch and shifting would be the reason for a win here.

 

I raced a RSX Type S last night,(my mods in sig) he said his was stock but who knows, we went from a 50 roll and he hung withe me for a while i think he even had a hood on me but by about 110 i put 2 car's on him.

 

Id say hes trying to hustle you. Just race him for kicks.
