roush mustang... :D
This guy I work with has an 04' stage 1 roush, he paid 42,000 grand for the car. He has been talkin trash for the past year. I finally took him to the track in my 98 beat up *** Z28 with 143,xxx miles on it, and only 7 new spark plugs in it...lol
when we raced I ran my worst time of the night (9.1x) in an 1/8 mile.... he ran his best (9.5x) So now everybody is ragging on him and his 42 grand car....
.....just wanted to share...

That is sad, my stock Mark VIII ran a 9.5 in the 1/8th all stock, 3.07 open rear, 4236 weight on the scales with me in it. And why would anyone pay $42,000 for a car with no power mods?

Horse-power is great and I'll take all I can get but it's not all there is.

St 1 are basickly Gt's with body kit, exhaust, suspension, and brakes. It really is'nt much faster than a gt.
Most of those types of cars are overpriced for the performance but with the price you get exclusivity of owning a limited edition/special model.
2002 35th anniversary ss,collectors edition T/A does'nt perform any bit better that a regular 2002 SS,T/A but the anni/collector sells for more new,now and will be more valuable down the road than a regular SS,T/A.
