2010 Roush Mustang

http://www.roushperformance.com/perf...010/427r.shtml

I've never really liked any of the aftermarket S-197 styling treatments (except for for a german version who's name escapes me at the moment). but at least to my eyes the new Roush doesn't look to bad.

That price though -ouch! nearly a 15k premium over the regular Mustang price. Thats GT500 territory (I know exclusivity factors into the Roush, but wow) IMO if I were Roush, I'd be looking at the FRPP catalog and see how much it would hurt to get Ford to knock out some all aluminum 5.4s with the ported 3v heads. That'd at least get it into the 500hp range.

I like the front end, nice improvement. But the stripes look like an afterthought. I still don't like Mustang's new rear end. The whole view of the car looks a bit low rent and garish compared to past Roush cars.

As with every aftermarket tuner, it has a pretty healthy price.

You'd likely wind up spending alot less money cherrypicking Ford's Performance Catalogue for the blower and suspension parts and having the dealer install it all.

Anything that gets rid of some of the excess plastic on the lower valences of that car will help its looks IMO.

Thats the part that really does it for me as well, if I go for a new car in a coupla years, I could very seriously consder getting the front fascia and having it installed. I consider the Roush nose a big improvement over the factory piece.

I agree the side stripes don't look right. I see what they are trying to do there with the body lines of the car, but it just doesn't work.
