Wink Ran a fox at the track

Fox Body Mustang that is. He was talking all kind of crap and I was being quiet. All I heard was "284 cubes this" .... "284 cubes can't keep up with the 5.0 that" ... < damn bullies! uuuuhh ok >

I explained to drivers friend that I'm at the track after a long time being away and just wanted to get a few shakedown runs in with my new combination and not out to have the 5.0 beat on me.

Anyway, I ended up running 11.8@118 and he ran a 14.X at like 97 mph I believe. When we returned to the staging lanes the guy stopped talking all that nonsense.

Cheers,
Tim

CrabhartZ28,
Here is a link to info on my car. I made two shakedown runs a few weeks ago. One against the Mustang and one against a honda? I think it was a honda. here is a link to the video of me against what I think is a honda?

I'm hoping to get to the track again soon since I've gotten to make some shakedown runs and had to make adjustments to the tune. The car was very sluggish on low to mid-range power and hopefully I've fixed that. We'll see.....

Regards,
Tim

LOL. I'll be running again soon and am hoping that my tuning ideas will work. Damn car just won't get out of its own way on low end and mid range and I've been tweaking the tune. Always something with these cars

The funniest thing is the 4.6 engine is 281cid.not 284cid. Thats how much that guy knows.

Exactly. You would think folks would at least know what they are talking about huh?
