Racing....actually at the track!!!

Last night was the first points race for MOMSracing.com. It is a very large Mustang club in NY.

I won each race in qualifying although a few of those were against the street tired guys. I started the night with a 13.70@101.08, then a 13.65@103.10 and a 13.60@102.79. I have to get these sportlines off my car as my 60s were consistent as hell around 1.95

In the eliminator round I was paired up with a guy in the DOT class(I run DOT limited). His best was a 13.5x so I figured it would be a really close race. He treed me but I was able to 60ft better than him so it was pretty damn close by the 330. Around the 1/8th he shot out by a car maybe a car and a half and kept there till the end. I was really bummed out as I thought I ran slow. Well when I got back and grabbed my slip I saw that he ran a 12.955@110 and I ran a 13.56@101. He broke out because even though it is heads up you cannot sandbag in qualifiers. After we met back up he admitted to spraying me.

All and all it was some real fun racing.

It is there for when I hit a 13 N/A. Once I do that I will fire off. I figure a 13.0 with a 150 shot on top should be good for 11s. I have to prove that I can hit a 13.0 or 12.9 with bolt-ons and weight reduction.

I have not had the car to a dyno yet and I would not like to speculate cause that would lead to a debate.

Once I get the Longtubes on my car I will be getting the car tuned N/A and for the bottle. I will be sure to post up the dyno results. It should be at the end of July beginning of August.

I figure with the setup I have now I am most likely around 240ish to the wheels. With the longtubes 255 or so and on the bottle I will guess with my N/X 150 shot I will be good for 390-400rwhp.

But I really am not worried what my car makes power wise as long as I can get her down the track to the times that I would like.

I plan to go with 33 spline axles and a spool. Then I will be running MTs.
