Was wondering if anyone can tell me of some long tubes that are 50 state legal? If there are any. I have only found shorties that are 50 state legal. Thanks for your help.

I dont think there are long tubes that are 50 state legal. If your in CA and want to do everything legit all you can go with is shorties. Mac Midlengths or anything better dont have CARB #.

I think FLP's LT setup has a CARB #, so they would be legal. For that $1200 price tag the sucker better be legal

Rip off. Get something else instead like sticky tires, cat back, airfoil, cai, shorty headers, stall, etc.

Its going to be hard to find some 50 state legal LTs though. You might end up have to get shorties. But with a small cam and those shorties plus a few other mods and you can still have a pretty quick car.

How are all you guys running long tubes? Are there 49 state legal ones? Or do you guys have "connections" to get past the smog test .

Some places dont have emissions. I live near Chicago where they do, but I am in the military so i am exempt for now. Also in IL, when they test they check to see if you are throwing any codes, if you arent you pass, if you are you get the sniff test.

Like i've seen other guys say in other kill stories..... it's said when a 93 Z28 would beat an 04 GT. even worse that a 90 iroc l98 (245hp,345lb.ft.) completely stock will beat a new GT by a tick on the clock. that was 14 years ago!!!!
I'm scared now. hahahaha...
