so the other night, i was about to turn left onto 146th street, which is a pretty decent road for racing. just before i got the light, i see this damned ricer go flying through a right turn in the opposite lane of traffic. i say to myself "fun." So i catch up to this dude, and i see it's a purple, maybe blue ford focus, non-hatch, with blue underglow. fart can, too. so dude rolls down his window (it's very cold in indiana) and gives me the finger, and floors it.
i half-gas'd it to keep up, and eventually pass him. we catch a light and the guy, with his girlfriend in the passenger's seat, revs his engine at me. now my car is stock, yes. but it's a 2002 z28. so i nod, to signify my acceptance for this "race". i decided there was no point in not embarrasing him, so i did just that. i shut down at about 100 cause i was beginning to not see him. he does that typical ricer flyby while giving me the bird again. i was sitting on a pillar, until i raced a cobra about 30 minutes later. dude murdered me, and i knew he would. oh well, still a funny kill.

 

I bet his girlfriend was laughing at when when you disappeared. Nice kill. It's amazing what some people think their cars can do.

Same here. Although I'd done a little to my V-6 I had false hopes. I bought it in 1995 (it was a 94) and I raced the 95 GT Mustangs. I thought I had something condsidering I could keep up if not beat most of the stock GT's that year. Needless to say at the time I didn't know it was the worst model ever. BTW, I got my dignity handed to me by an LT-1 back then. Of course I knew I'd lose, I just didn't know it would be so bad and I aslo just wanted to see what the LT-1 would do.
