Old kill: '01 T/A, '92 DSM

I was just telling old stories with friends last night, and was reminded of one night this past summer i'll never forget. I had decided to cruise the local scene looking for competition, and hopefully some more Fbody, or at least american muscle drivers. I found a 94 A4 T/A with mild cam and bolt ons, and a bone stock except for his giant sticker '01 WS6. After small talk, we decided we'd skip foreplay and head down the street. A few cars followed to watch, and we both got to the light. On green we blasted a little more than 1/4 mile to the next light. I didn't shift as well as i could have, but still had 3 cars on him at the end (but shouldn't i have more?)

Immediatly after that, i waved to him, and split for the highway. A local tuner followed me up the ramp. This is a 1992 AWD Mitsubishi Eclipse that runs 11.89 at the track on slicks, race gas and N2O. he came up next to me with his BOV making a ****load of noise, and we ran from 65-13-mph. I can't even count how far ahead i was- but he told a few guys he lost by only "a few cars".

Good kill. Although i think the guy you raced needs to work on his car and go with a different setup. If he is only running a 11.89 with n20 then he has some issues with his car. He should of upgraded his turbo to something bigger and skipped out on the n20. Those cars could run low high 11's easy with a good turbo swap with accomidating bolt ons. But either way from where the race started and where it finished you had a huge advantage. But again good kill.

If he's really AWD, he's not running slicks for an 11.89 timeslip. Maybe he was FWD or maybe he was just BSing you, but either way good kill.

11s on race gas @ 22lbs boost. not sure what he runs on 93 octane... probably around 17lbs. Not sure what that translates to for HP, but i do know he's got a T3/4 hybrid, and some pretty big injectors.
