Have any of you raced one of those new chargers... i saw one on the 202 a few days ago but he had some chrome 20's so i figured he wasnt much a of a racer.... just wondering how are cars would do against thiers

 

Motor Trend tested one in a previous issue and it ran 14.1@100, so watch out.

 

I wouldn't be too worry about any of them besides the 6.1 Liter Hemi.
The rest are fast for being heavy cars, but not exceptionally fast when compared to the competition of the last few years.

 

are the 6.1L the ones that say r/t on the side?

It looks like the only one that offers the 6.1 Hemi is the SRT8.
The rest have upto the 5.7 Hemi rated at 350 HP and 390 FT LBS.

 

i raced one with a small hemi badge on the rear, but not the sides. wasnt looking for r/t or anything else, i dont know their layout/ emblems. it surprised me on the launch, but like a stock sti, they (or at least this one) lacked anything up high.

 

From what I've seen/read, the SRT model runs 12's.
