Sorry but I thought this would be the best place to post.

Thursday night/afternoon ran my best time yet...8.02 in the 1/8th with a 1.76 60ft. Mods in sig. Now thats still not close to what she had left. My car was sitting at around 195 F when I raced it (just drove 30 minutes to the track, paid, and I was the first car through). Now my car consistently runs, 2 to 3 tenths of a second faster if I let it cool down to 160 F.

After I ran it i let It cool down, and for the rest of the night I kept blowen off the tires off. I ran every where from 8.5 to 8.7; so basically I only got in the one good run.

I know for certain that she has a 7.8 in her, but with a stock rearend having a intermitten one wheel of fury shes not consistent at all.

so im hoping to get the rearend fixed soon. I've had her for going on 3 years, and I am hoping by the end of the summer she sees the 7's.

Did you cut that 60 on street tires? Your sig's "absolutely no traction" can't be all the time with a launch like that.

 

Launch was on bald and I can not stress bald enough, nitto 555 315x35x17.

When I say absolutely no traction, I mean 99 percent of the time. Since I have been racin that thing, the best 60 I ever got was the 1.76 and besides that was a 1.91 (on a 100 shot before the cam and the stall). The rest of the time I cut 2.00, and since the stall its been from 2.00 to 2.3x.

I really think its the rearend, because when it starts to spin at the track its always pushing me left, thus the one wheel of fury, and also every now and then when I do my burn out only one tire spins.

So I hoping and praying that by august I will have enough for tires, rims, more tires, eaton posi, gear install kit, and installion.

all together about 1600. Though I might forget the draglites and extra set of tires.
