So he has a track car that runs in the 14's? I personally think that is sad. He has a b18 swap so that makes that car not street legal anymore right? Plus weight reduction, cai, header, and cam. That is sad. Why would you work that hard to make your car run slower then a stock lt1? That is just me though. Maybe it is cool to people.

He ran mid 14s at THE TRACK all motor, before the fuel pump and ECC.

With nitrous before those mods he went mid 13s with a 65 shot, He says he only pulled on it when the Firebird shifted.

Im thinking it was a V6.

If he is running mid to low 14s, he could beat a stock LS1 with a real crappy driver. He could beat a stock V6 firebird no matter the driver.

 

It was from a roll so its all trap speed, think about it

 

There are plenty of idiots that race from a roll and don't shift fast enough or rev the engine to redline in every gear to get the most out of it. I knew a guy back in high school that had a stock an '85 SVO turbo Stang. He would only rev that thing to about 3800 rpm when racing. He was afraid he would blow it up if he revved it past 3800, even though redline was about 6000 or something.
