Talking My FIRST kill

I got my first kill EVER at the beginning of this week
I was in my step-dad's full-size, '94 Eddie Bauer Edition 351, a4 Bronco.
It all started w/ this cocky dude driving some year honda civic. It was black, had a huge honda sticker on the rear hatch glass, altezza's, and an obnoxiously sized exhaust tip. Oh ya, it was a standard too.
We were driving thru town, speed limit was 35mph. Every time this honda would fall back from the person in front of him, he would floor the car to catch up. So, being the smart-*** i am i did the same to him. I stayed on his bumper the whole time.
Then, the speed changed to 55. He floored it, I floored it. I was DEAD ON HIS A$$. We then (after about 2 miles) merged onto the 400. Speed limit, 65. I floored it and so did he. Now, my spedo only goes up to 85, but that **** was PINNED (lol). I was in front of the honda the whole time until i let up due to up-coming cars. I was now in the left lane, he was in the right lane. We are hauling around 65mph, and I floor it, and then he floors it. I stay in front of him. We continue to cruize around 75-80mph.
Then, i hear his car being floored (remember, this guys has a HUGE freaking tip that is deafeningly loud ), and by time i relize what he is doing (he was trying to get in front of me before we merged into one lane), it was too late. He was right behind my drivers door before I floored it. The Bronco takes FOREVER to downshift 2 gears, so he pulled on me. Then after I downshift 2 gears, I stay RIGHT on his *** WAAAY past 85 yet again. Obviously this guy was topping out because I heard his POS loud exhaust banging away due to the rev-limiter (you know, that *wha-wha-wha-wha* noise, lol) We stayed dead even like that until the 45mph speed-limit came up. He tried pulling away from me on route 16, but that sh*t just wan't going down, lol.
Man do I love American V8 torque
Nothing like a workhorse, 11 year old truck taking out a upper-nineties honda

LOLOLOLOL Nice one matt. I love how you heard the rev limiter going nuts, rotflmao. Wish I coulda seen that. Maybe now this kid will realize his car isn't that great, and it's time to throw more money into it then its worth to get some speed outta it.

Re: My FIRST kill

Lol, ya Jon, the ONLY reason I knew I was gonna keep hangin' with him, and eventually beat him, was because of his obnoxiously loud exhaust and rev limiter, lol.

CarbhartZ28: You would be surprised at how much power this beast has, lol. It is incredible for offroading too. Thing never gets stuck Bet that punk's honduh cant do that
But ya, 4th gear had quite some room for gaining yet, so I am very happy to say in the least.

Re: My FIRST kill

^hehe, ya that damned OJ
But it deffinently is a beast; only got stuck once in it, and taht's because I was backing-up a HUGE hill that was TOTALLY muddy, and the ruts that the tires were in, no joke, were about a foot high. Plus, the tires on it are teh suxors right now, lol.

Re: My FIRST kill

Nice! I used to do that in my truck and my dads truck, both Vortec V8's. Many a rice killed in those trucks. Great Kill, he'll think twice about Bronco's again.

Pnuematic Tire: I'm from Salem too, where in Salem are you from? I never knew anyone else from Salem was on here, lol.

x100. Ya, my dads '01 interceptor Impala will kill this Bronco, let alone my Z.

Bersaglieri- Hell yes Jon is from Salem; he is right down the road from SLP's warehouse! (I think it is SLP.. it might be another hi-performance warehouse )
Did you ever get your Vortec trucks stuck?

But d@mn was I shatting my pants today! I went to a state-park and decided to show my g/f this weird shrine-type thing I found the other day. Well, me being the pollock I am forgot that the town this state-park is in, has been practically shut-down due to some flooding the past few days. Well, I go into the trail, 4x4 already armed knowing I will need it. I show Nikki this shrine-type thing (she claims it's a burning-pit ), and continued to *try* getting out. Lucky for me, I backed it in so I could really see what was going on. Well, lets just say that due to the recent flooding, this shut-down, hidden trail became engraved w/ 1.5' high frickin ruts! I ended up getting out of the trail sideways in the truck, and thank Henry Ford for such durable trucks, I almost took out my passenger side mirror on a tree or two (lol). But man these tires suck; my bald-Camaro tires have more tread than these pos's lol.

Re: My FIRST kill

Didnt know SLP had a warehouse around here...hmm. I better meet this guy Jon.

I never got either truck stuck, even though mine was a 2WD. I took it through a muddy field and alot of snow and it never got completely stuck. My dads Z71 is awesome that thing will do damn near anything. I even hit flood water going about 55 and it was probably 2 feet deep or so and it barreled right through.

Re: My FIRST kill

Ya, it's SLP or some other high-performance warehouse, and it's right around where Jon lives

But the tires on my Bronco are HORRIBLE. I would *love* to get a slight raise on the truck, as well as some REAL tires, a real exhaust, and even better the front/rear differentials. I dont know if they are posi, lsd, or what though
