Shane, I am shifting at 6200 rpm. It is still pulling pretty good, but I'm not willing to rev the stock bottom end with 133k miles any more than that

Guys,
Im gonna tell you that Johns car is real fast for the few mods he has done. An LT1 with the right top end package can be lethal fast.
Im kinda like him, I am actually the slowest one in my area with my buds. Im high 12s and they are mid to high 10s.
Rich bastards

Thanks Mike! You nailed, I'm one of the slower guys around here. Here are some examples of what buddies of mine drive-

1996 Cobra convertable, built 4.6 w/5.4 DOHC heads, ATI D-1SC, upgraded front mount intercooler, Viper spec T56 tranny, 4.10 gears, Kook's longtube headers etc etc etc- Picture

1997 Supra, SP67 single turbo, just about every bolt on you can do.

1994 Supra, HKS intake, hardpipes, BOV, upgraded front mount, titanium exhaust, Tanabe downpipe, Greddy E-01. Soon to have single turbo conversion and four row intercooler.

2002 Z06(blue), air bridge, catback, nitrous.

2003 Z06(black), air bridge, exhaust, cam, 100 shot.

2003 Cobra, intake, pulley, headers, off road pipe, catback, 461rwhp.

1998 Camaro, stalled automatic, fully built LS1, T60 turbo. CNC heads with a TR224 cam. T76 upgrade in the future.

Man I feel pretty lucky, here is what some of my friends drive:

'98 Tacoma
'98 Jeep Wrangler
'00 Durango
'03 Silverado
'00 Grand Cherokee
'95 Ranger
'89 Buick LaSabre
etc...

I'm KING of the mountain out of all my friends, LMAO! No one is really into modding (or more precisely, no one has any money), expect for my friend with the Silverado, who is also my mechanic. He's currently half-way done building a monster foxbody 5.0 track car that should have no problems seeing single digits.

Oh yeah, nice run. I'm suprised you kept up as well as you did. Your car has made some great progress since I've been here. A Z06 is one tough challenger, much less a cammed one. Good job.

So who's the fastest car out of that bunch? My money's on the Camaro.

Re: Me vs. Cammed Z06

My car is really liking this cooler weather, seems like the more I drive it the faster it gets!

Yea it is the original color. It's called Medium Quasar Blue. Most of the people with this color haven't taken care of it, and it ends up looking like ****. I was lucky enough to find a well taken car of car, and I kept up with it, so the paint still looks pretty nice. Do you have any pics of your buddies car? I didn't know that they offered this color in '02.

I didn't pay much attention to it when I bought the car, but I really do love the color.
