Ok just got my car back today with all the mods it sounds sick and I love it. Heres my confusion. I raced my buddy 3 times 30-90 and was dead even. His car: 99 TA M6 lid,exhaust,5.0 shifter....My car should have near 400ish at the wheels...WTF?!?!?

 

either hes a better driver, or shift points werent tuned right. maybe shifting too early. who did the tune? whats his gears?

 

local reputable tuner, 3.42's. I'm tuned to shift at 6400. I'm so worried I just dumped about 4k and can only hang with a bolt on LS1?!

 

What heads and cam are you running ?

 

Get some sticky tires and race him from a dig. I'm guessing you'll have him by a bus length.

Also get it on the dyno and get some numbers. And while your on it get a dyno tune. Any flow numbers on your heads?

 

I am running stock ported heads with a custom cam that is pretty big.
