Me vs. '96 mustang GT

Hey, who would win this matchup?

My '87 firebird formula vs. a basically stock '96 4.6l mustang GT 5spd his only mod is dual exhuast.

My mods are in my sig. although by the time we race i will most likely have my cam and headers in.

Well, if his only mod is 'dual exhaust', your racing a V6. You win.
As for your car and beating a 96, stock no way, with your mods, I'd say you'll beat a V6 an a NPI GT.

Really? I thought those '96 GT's were good for 260HP at the crank? What is a 350 TPI rated at?

Re: Me vs. '96 mustang GT

lol no no no. 94-98 GTs were rated at 215-220 hp, the old 302's made the same power I think. cobras were 305. 1999 the new gt's were rated at 260 and cobras jumped to 320, etc, etc etc. Depending on the year, the iroc/z28 was rated at 220-230 hp, or 230-245hp, and a boat load of torque. 290's up.
