Thanks for reminding me how i feel about other car manufacturers, I guess I'm just stupid for thinking I liked alot more than just Chevy (I'm must be a blind, brand loyal idiot because I drive a Z28), I mean you must know that better than I do.

 

Yea, after the 99 Cobra fiasco of them not putting out the advertised hp (believe it was a problem w/ the heads) there was no 00 Cobra made besides the R in the states...think there was a few hundred sent to austailia though if I remember correctly.

 

I think you will lose then again it might be a god race. It all depends how much pwer the Cobra is running. My buddy has a 98 Cobra with a PC and he put down 460rwhp. He was at 9-11psi.

 

If he is tuned...you should loose.

I think it was in 2002 that we didn't get a Cobra but Australia got a few hundred of them. SVT was pretty busy for 2000 fixing all the 99 power loss issues.

I don't know if some of you are joking around, or actually that dense, but there as no 2000 Mustang Cobra. Sorry guys a Cobra R and a Cobra are two different things, at least they were in both 93 and 95. Seeing there were only 300 Cobra Rs built by Ford, I really doubt it was one of them.

There was no 00 cobra. They stopped production in 00 to handle some problems that the cobra was having with the rear end. There was only a 00 Cobra R.

 

Why don't you read through the entire post? It has already been figured out. There were no problems with the rear ends. There was a problem with the 99s not making the advertised 320hp, so they needed to be recalled and adjusted by SVT to meet that output.
