That Maxima has alot more than just a CAI. My guess is either a supercharger/Turbo or a small shot of nitrous. If its the car im thinking about it has a Turbo. Which is why it laid the smackdown on that S2k. I know my 02 Maxima SE with a catback and cai doesnt kill an S2000 like that. Its an awesome car though.
Well, most all (99%) of S2000 owners wont push the car as hard as it needs to be to drag race well. To drag those cars well you have to beat the crap out of them like 8000rpm clutch drops. The S2000 on average runs about a 14.0-14.2 in stock trim, when run hard. An 02 Max 6 speed is a mid 14 second car stock, most run 14.4-14.6 or so, so I could see an 02 max giving a good run to an S2000. but a modded S2000, against a maxima that's crappy wheels take away any power gained through an intake??? I dunno. Good race, but something doesnt seem to add up.
