He told me he ran 13.2@114. But since then, he added some work and can now rev to 7200.
But in all actuallity, it looked to me like a 114 car! Oh well, was fun.

I agree with SSlither on this one,
People that put stuff like that on their plates deserve what they get. I knew a guy once that drove a Z28 and had HNDASX on his plates and couldnt figure out why he was receiving bad key scratches.

By the way...good run to the thread starter.

Ehh 5.0's can be overrated.

Inless someone knows what their doing. Most of the time though, they end up a pile of **** parts that are mismatched because you get some idiot 16-20 year old who reads Jegs/Summit, and buys the best advertised products / is stupid.

Thats a perfect example of it. I mean COME ON. Its got HEADS, A CAM, AND A INTERCOOLED FREAKIN BLOWER. But their probably junk heads, a ****ty cam for a blower, and too much boost for the stock MAF to handle. Bad combo.

And as for the HNDASX guy, I kinda feel bad for em'. They do suck. And the only people that would stoop low enough to key someones car over it, is a younger person. Younger persons, with Hondas, who actually take enough offense to that to get pissed off, obviously are the ones going to be the rice boys anyways, in which case, they, and their car, do in fact, suck at life and need to be drove off a bride into freezing water. HNDASX

Nice kill Brian. Is your car running strong now? What do you have planned for it? Still thinking about buying a LS1?

It's been nice up here but I've already took the insurance off my camaro so I can't drive it. Keep the vids coming to entertain me through these crappy winter months.

finally running right. I think the only thing left is to get the timing right on the bottle. Right now it is starting to break up @115mph. Other then that, running good.
Well no LS1 anytime soon, going to buy a truck soon.
Peace

I was wondering. Did you see the engine? He sounds like a BS'er.114 mph sounds very slow for that set up he has.I ran 112 with just heads, intake and cam in a '89.with a 73mm mas air meter.he should be able to run 117-120 if not a little higher if it was put together properly and well tuned . Also my saleen makes 700rwhp and traps 146mph with a 80mm mass air. unless he was still running the stock mass air he should'nt be able to max out any aftermarket units.Maybe he meant his injectors were maxed out. I dont know. Somrething does'nt seem right with that 114mph with that combo. But nice kill
The factory rev limiter is 6250rpms on those cars. It sounds like he bought ford motoersports extender which raises the limit to 7200 but raising the rpms on his combo is worthless. If he does the car will most likely fall on its face because the valve springs can't handle it and will float the valves and he could posibly damage the blower if he over rev's it. Just because you can hold the gas down and it'll go to 7200 rpms does'nt mean you can run that rpm. You need a engine built for that powerband. But alot of dumb kids don't understand that. I run into alot of people like that in every type of car. I never point out were they are wrong I just invite them to go to the track with me and race. I tell them that timeslips dont lie. Especially on the mph side. Even a bad driver can get a mph close to what a good driver can get and the mph shows what kind of power the car is making. The ET on the other hand is another story.
After they see me run there like and .

Not all Honda's are rice though. Why don't you bring your car down to VA and you can run a couple of "sucky Hondas"
