So tonight i was hanging out with some people. A few guys say something about a fast 240sx with a skyline engine. One of my friends said it's a late model skyline engine from the 90's? I guess he knew what he was talking about. Anyways we head out to the interstate i downshift to 2nd to pull up beside him well as soon as i do he takes off and he was already about a car length in front of me, i look at my friend and i'm like wtf and then i decide to punch it well he was quite a few car lengths ahead but i was gaining on him but i decided to let off because it wasent worth going that fast. We get off at the next exit i pull up he's talkin about how he smoked me, i'm like what was up with that, he acted like he did nothing so i told him let's run them again but go on three honks, we get back out on the interstate going about 50 again and i honk three times and i immediatly start to pull away. I ended up shutting down around 110 because there was no need to go higher. I figure i probably put about 8 car's on him and my car has a terrible miss from 5000-6000 so i figure i could have did a little more damage. :P We ended up pullin in kroger and we could hear him and his friends talking about how he could beat me but i didn't care to say anything because another guy got it on camera so that's all i needed.

 

Yeah dawg, don't you know, you cant race anything with a skyline engine below 140 or so, skyline enginez have "M4d 70p 3Nd yo!", I bet he was talkin about how he "pwns j00 above 180 dawg"

lol, I was trying to sound like your typical teenage ricer, making excuses for losing like wanting to race above 140 mph and other stupid crap. "yeah my car will pull yours above 140" yeah big f*ckin deal, mines fast at speeds that matter....

 

i dont see many ricers going above 140. maybe some supras, sti's. anything else im guessing would have to be well modded.

 

Do having your windows down slow you down a lot in the higher speeds? I had mine down i'm just curious if i would have killed him a lot worse with the windows up. LoL

 

Roll your windows up! In fact, for years Saab had a note to ALWAYS have your windows up above 100 MPH.

On that note, even though I out-ran a 911 on the main straight at Lime Rock, it was plateauing a bit and I was not able to get higher than 105. On the road, with that distance and momentum, with the windows up, I would have hit 120 or better.

Not to **** on anyones parade here but there are many different "Skyline engines" and the likelyhood of this being an RB26DETT(GTR motor) is very very slim.

Ya i'm sure it wasen't no top of the line skyline engine but it's the fact all his friends were laughing when i said i would race him. They all thought he was going to kill me and then i smashed on him.
