I was down in Indianapolis this past summer cruising downtown and on the strip looking for some races. I got to the very end to turn around and 2 black f-body fly by. So i do a u-turn and follow. Turns out one of them was just a manual 99+ v-6. The 3 of us are messin around all the way down the strip until I line up with a 96 (i think) 6-speed. I look over at him and he says "u wanna go" so i nod and say sure. The light turns green and my nittos hook and I am gone. I noticed that at about 60-70 I stopped pulling but it was too late for him. I ended up winning by about 2-3 car lengths. I know the only mod he had for sure was an exhuast but I dont know if he had anything else. I figured this is where my car should be seeing as how I have 2.73 gears still. Anyway, take it easy and be safe. Dustin.

Thanks guys, I was pretty stoked when i beat him. I hadnt raced another LT1 yet with the new motor so I didnt know what to expect. I was more then happy when i found out it was a 6-speed.
