I said I would never post a race again but o-well.

I was heading home from the track being pissed at how slow my ta is since the gears and tune I just put in.(3.42's,a4).I noticed ls-1 headlights following but he would never get up to me.Finally he goes by and I notice the Z on the side with the stock duals.The red light comes up and I fall in behind him.(cars in other lanes)I give me some revs just so he knows I'm ready and low and behold he lauches when the light went green.I took off hard but not all out b/c he was in front of me until I noticed black smoke then I floored it.He pulled away in first alittle do to his jump but its to bad he can't shift fast b/c I pulled right up to his bumper on his 1st to 2nd gear shift.I got to close and had to let out as I inched up in 2nd gear.I pulled about 3 cars on him to about 65.I was hoping to talk to him but he darted off the freeway faster then I could react.Granted he could beat me with a good driver but he wasn't so I win.

65???? 3 cars???? I hate to tell you this but it does not seem like he knew it was a race or he was not coming up to that speed as his exit was coming up. It makes no sens you starting out behind him and pulling 3 on him to 65.

It might help if you told us what mods you have...all you said was gears and a tune...Theres no way w/ that or any bolt on for that matter that you would have 3 cars on a LS1 at 65....

 

What did you run at the track??? ET's, MPH and 60ft.

Cliff notes:

Guy in M6 LS1 launches and badly messes up the 1-2 shift.

Guy in M6 LS1 says "F*** I don't believe I just did that".

Guy in M6 LS1 decides his schedule being kept is more important then missing his exit to reel in the auto LT1 or try and line up with him again at another light.

LT1 guy decides to bragg about this as a kill but is realistic about why the mini-race ended the way it did. Faster car had bad driver.

You say you were not going to post anymore , but decided to on this one right? I take it that you must have been flamed on an earlier thread...am I right?
I dont know you nor have I ever seen you post before , but wanted to offer a little assistance to clarify/ justify your claims.

#1 . Please go to the user cp and create you a signature that details the following... Your car/year/model , Modifications youve done since stock, any track times/dyno graphs or such.

#2 . Add a little more detail to your story such as...
You mention just returning with bad times from the track. Please list those in the thread body just to give people an idea.

#3 . Was your last post an LS1 kill?
Sometimes we get people here that have an inferiority complex and have to post made up races ever so often of beating the faster car...it just makes them feel good about their purchase. Kinda like I used to keep track of this one guy on here...not mentioning no names , but he would post every week about killing,*******,bi*ch slapping, mauling,dragging,spanking and LS1 with his 97 TA that had only free mods. To hear him talk he never lost a race to an LS1, not even the big bad C5 could escape his wrath.

Im not saying your doing like #3 , but just to help out I mentioned it.
Sounds like you do have a few good mods , but Im only guessing so please get that signature made up for us to look at.
