lost to a WRX

my friend has a turbo WRX with full exhaust, intake, chip and a blow off valve. I no he runs normally on 17 psi but spikes at 21. we went from dig... i had him at the begining until about 70 where he started pull a nice amount. He had by about a car at 90 and was still pulling. I really dont no if this is bad of not cause i dont no that much about the car and what it can do with that much boost so is it as bad as i think?

I'm surprised you even had him from a dig.

Re: lost to a WRX

most of the time (no offence to your friend) when WRX's use a blow off valve the people either have no idea what they are doing or have the means to get some high end tunning done. From what i understand They loose power because they use a by pass rather than a blow off. are you sure he doesent have any thing else hes not telling you about ?

Re: lost to a WRX

im surprised at the result. any time a mildly modded wrx / sti doesnt manage to pull me by a decent margin at the launch, i usually am able to reel them in. my personal experience is that wrx's dont begin to become fast until they have swapped turbo's, esp from a roll.
