So my buddy has a 2000 C5 Auto Vert, and I have my LT1. We were cruising around together and I was thinking I was gonna get killed but I got suprised. From a dead stop to about 60mph I put maybe 2 cars on him then at like 80mph tho he blew by me and was driving by pretty steadily putting maybe 4 cars back on my to 100mph. I thought I would have gotten killed off of the line though. I was thinking is there something wrong with his car or what becasue I was expecting to get raped.

Haha those LS1's as fast as they are dont sound good I might add. It was really amazing how much power he had up top though. I mean he was pulling hard.

 

Thats about what I would've expected, when I had a cai and catback and electric water pump, about the same thing happened when I ran a stock ls1 camaro.
