Re: Killed with intimidation

myslowcamaro - I don't have any dyno or 1/4 mile times yet. With the right tune it "should" be around 520FWHP. I purchased the heads, cam, intake from a board member a few years ago (INTIMD8). On a similiar shortblock he dyno'd 453rwhp and 416rwtq with an M6 and a 12 bolt. I expect mine to be less since I'm running a TH400 and 3000-3500 stall. I'm not really a dyno guy, 1/4 mile times are where it's at. I'm hoping to hit Cecil soon and will let you know. In regards to the motor, feel free to PM away

We need to have a race set up, this place is too boring
I hear ya on that. Some of the old group: Blackhatch, Firechicken, Mike, Tim and myself are planning on hitting Cecil for TNT sometime soon. There will be plenty of trash talked and racing going on. I know there are more local guys near where I live that should come along and we can grudge race all day

I'd offer to race Antz . . . but you have to have a car worth racing first.

Re: Killed with intimidation

Well if Tamething still has his nitrous kit it would be big big trouble for me but of course I will race-who cares. Keep in mind with drag radials, bolt ons and some spray that car went high 11s at 115-116MPH. Good chance its much much faster. He can try and feast on blackhatch as well.

Who cares about Antz. He still posts like a moron.

Re: Killed with intimidation

Nah . . . sold that kit a while back. It was good enough for 11.78 @117.5, with a hole large enough in the top of the #1 piston that you could see the rod through where the ring was supposed to be . . . and still running,

Seriously though, Mikes Stang is hands down a faster ride. From a roll or at the track he'll be faster. Blacksnatch's won't be a slouch either.

Re: Killed with intimidation

Pete,

I probably won't make Cecil on WED. I am going out of town all next week and sh*t is backing up already. I going to go with a Meziere electric WP and convert to an electric fan as well and replace my alternator that I killed.

You know the drill. Lots of loose ends. I did get the subframes on and the rear control arms as well as the exhaust. I just want to get a custom tune in it first. It is running in LIMP HOME mode after a few miles. I don't want to beat on it too much like that.....I am already on borrowed time with 150K+ on the stock motor.

So you converted it to front wheel drive while you were at it? hmmmm.... sounds fishy to me!

Re: Killed with intimidation

I have no idea how fast it is-less boost and smaller injectors so I can run pump gas(added a snow kit too). Anything can happen in a race.

Re: Killed with intimidation

I have always loved how F-Bodies sound. Better than Mustangs IMO. F-Bodies just sound soo mean, espescially when boosted. My buddy has a 99 or 2000 Formula with LTs, ORY and a LoudMouth. Sounds fricken AWESOME.

But people used to be afraid of my T-Type. Turbo Regals just sound sooo mean running an open dump. Plus people just cant beleive its a V6. Another buddy has a WH-1 (like mine was) and it has a 3" DP with a single shot 3" exhaust. Its a stockish motor, with a 218/222 PTE cam. Sounds like a stoked SBC, especially under 3,000 rpm. Then the PT-67 turbo comes alive.

But I wouldnt mind having a SS or Firehawk to play around in. Gotta be LS-1 powered.
