A "Ricer" is a mentality, it doesn't matter what car you drive. There are a lot of import drivers who are ricers, there are also a lot of domestic owners who are as well, like the V6 Camaro owners who put fake Z28 badges on their cars, or Mustang GT owners who think they can own any import just because they have a bigger engine. I see it all the time.

Being a ricer is basically being a moron, and that affects EVERY car group.

more so with the 6 cylinders but still i have seen some 8's

Yea my friend is doing stuff to his civic but he isnt a ricer he never talks smack and bows down to a faster car when it is do. But about your z28, you should be running a hell of a lot better then low 16's, thats is like as 3.4 camaro. My z28 is running horrible because I haven't gotten it fixed and I still pull my friends 3.8 with 3:42's, cai, high flow cat and cat-back by I don't know A LOT and my car is running very bad. And I have seen him beat turbo eclipses and 95 or so gt's. So get your car looked at man. I hope your luck gets better.

As others have stated, you need to check the car out. Something is off by quite a bit. Heck, I even ran a 15.2 on 7 cylinders at the dragway one time when my headers burned through a plug wire That was not fun at all, I was infact suprised I ran that, because it felt like I was putt putting around.

 

You killed a Mustang? Was it a 5.0? You kinda hung with an LS1, but you lose to a stock Matrix? What gives! If you are kinda hanging with LS1s and spanking 5.0s then a stock Matrix should be an easy win for you. Maybe crappy drivers in the 5.0 and LS1 or your car runs good sometimes and bad others?

ive got lots of low end power but something is missing up top... it kinda falls on its face.
