Well I was coming home from work tonight and when I left the parking lot I noticed there was a 99 honda civic coming up in the other lane so I went on. I was letting it shift a 3,000rpms so bye the time is was fixing to shift into 3rd it was at 45. So I let off the gas and bye that time the civic was right beside me and my exhaust is loud no matter what so I guess he thought I wanted to race. He kept pulling up about 4 car lenghts and then letting back. Well finally there was a semi in my lane so I gave it some gas and got in front of him in the left lane. At the red light he kept inching up on me reving his motor. So when the light turn green I gave it almost 3/4 throttle and just left him. Well I get back in the right lane cruising at about 65 and he flies by me and slows down and keeps getting beside me and doing the same thing as before. So the next time he got about 4 car lenghts in front of me and let of the gas I just hammered it and when I got to about 85 he was plennty of car lenghts ahead of him. So I slow down and he flys by doing about 100 I guess I was going 70 and I did not want to waste anymore gas.

I am glad this weekend is opening weekend at the dragway. I wanna race some muscle cars no more ricers. The guy kept trying to get me to race him.

Silly ricers. Funny part is, even with a stock cam, I cant hear anyone revving unless they are right by my window. So the rice usually catch me off guard.

But I love when they try to sling shot you with a ricer flyby. When I see them coming I hammer it, then they get to my door or neck and neck and I totally punish them and put them into their place in the world, *** last. Ill do that until they stop or I get bored. It usually pisses them off pretty good.

I'm not one to just **** people off but that sounds like a good idea. Normally I just let'em go, but next time they do a fly by right back beside me I may give them another whooping. Only thing is last time I raced one was with my LT-1 when my 454 get's done in a month or so they might not even be able to see me to do a fly by . Dang, I can't wait for some stupid ricer to try and race me

 

Gas is way too expensive; they can keep their false sense of victory.

 

Ahh, the ricer fly by, I love it. You should keep a trash bag full of ketchup in your passenger seat for such occasions..=)

 

I save that special tactic only for the riciest of ricers

That tactic also works well when you race a mustang. There is nothing better than to race them, let off till they catch up, walk off, then repeat! Why do ricers even try to race f bodys? Its like when they were babies, their parents played catch with them, and mom wasnt so good....

 

Racers like that are just stupid. What track are you going to 94formula? I live in Tuscaloosa, may be able to meet up with ya sometime....could even give you the real race you are looking for.......lol

 

I had a guy do the same exact thing to me in an STI. When he tried to do another one of his gay *** 4 car length pulls and slow down thing, I punched it and It was pretty damn even in the end I got him by half a car. I didnt kill himor anything but I dont think he was expecting that. He was pissed.
