How will i stack up to an LS1??
I forgot to tell ya guys, this is a brand new motor. I dont even have the car running yet, so i dont have any track times or anything on it, but when she is running i plan on gettin to the track right after the break in. Thanks.

You aren't rebuilding the motor and putting a stock cam back in, are you?
Even if you did that I think you could take an LS1 with those mods. Back when my car was stock motored I could pull on stock LS1's from a roll or a dig, and a few lightly modded ones as well. I didn't have longtubes either.

Well i didnt rebuild the motor, I bought one from Advanced Auto that was re-built. I got a 3 year warrenty on it so i didnt want to put a cam in there and take a chance of something happening. But when i get her broken in and i let some of the warrenty burn up then in pops a cam.
you should be REALLY close to an M6 LS1 but he'll pull you very slowly,so itll really come down to a drivers race,basically whoever floors it first (w traction) wins.You should be about dead even with the Cobra
I had a 95 Formula 'stripper' with near the same mods (no torque converter, it was manual) and I took a 30th Anniversary M6 by about a fender when he was bone stock. You will have a tough time with a lighter LS1.
