Re: Highly modified mustang got taught manners

That has to be atleast the 2nd video I have seen of a Supra racing on the highway.

BTW: What exactly are you driving these days?

Moral of the story: I'd love to see you defend your import love with your hardware. Not the best the internet has to offer. Are you the one racing a 10 sec Civic, or a big boost Supra?

For every one video of a Supra ripping a domestic on the highway, I promise that the people here could find atleast 5 ~ 10 videos of the 17 second 1/4 mile import that thought it could, getting smacked around. I think the difference is caring enough to do so. I personally have atleast a few Megs of video of imports that happened to get lined up against friends at the local track, during test and tune, that I'd like to have hosted.

Supra from a roll = fast. From a dig it wouldn't have been as embarassing for the mustang. No doubt the supra is fast though. Did it say what the mustang had for mods, i don't remember?

Oh no its you again. Better engineered??? Sounds like a commercial for toyota. You have WAY too much japanese envy. Even I dont gloat this much about the superiority of american cars. I like supras, but they are nothing special. Oh, and as far as the comeback you were gonna make about my car not being done, I am still busy making sure it is better engineered than the best according to you.

Yes better engineered. there isnt a registry of broken stock to barely modded supras anywhere on earth. but Mustangs have one

SUMMARY OF BLOWN ENGINES

Your car is even worse. its not built even half as good as Cobras which is saying alot. but I am sure after $40k you will get it to hold boost for 6 months.

Re: Highly modified mustang got taught manners

Ok granted the 4.6's are pretty crappy, I will assure you that you can find a link for broken LT-1's. Put boost to a LT-1 and even though well built, the weak stuff like pistons WILL break. Its only a matter of time. As crappy as they are, I have seen MANY fast mustangs. I would never own one, but I will bet there are 2x's the amount of vids out there showing modified stangs ripping SRT-4's or supras for that matter a new a hole.

Re: Highly modified mustang got taught manners

Yeah, I guess it is only as you would say a second rate american car. I hear the DSM's are much superior to a weak boosted LT-1. And the oh so crappy cobra is much more robust than any camaro. Out of pure curiousity and seeing as you are the self proclaimed car expert, what is so much better engineered on a COBRA I can think of one thing, rear end. ITs definately not the engine, according to your registry link! And im sure you wont trash talk the T-56. MUSTANG GUYS, STOP PICKING ON GOTBOOST. HE HAS TO POST THESE VIDS TO FEEL BETTER ABOUT HIMSELF. LET HIM WIN A FEW.

Re: Highly modified mustang got taught manners

ok.. Lt1's come with hypereutectic pistons with weak piston rings, a weak cast crankshaft, an ineffcient/unreliable optispark, and its a 2 bolt main block, with a weak oil pump and timing chain. EVERYTHING needs to be replaced to handle any kind of power except for the block itself.. big whoop

the cobra 4.6 is Forged, 4 bolt mains, stronger everything yada yada.. its a superior engine to yours. even though thier durabilty is very inconsistent. some can make 700hp on the stock block while others cant keep the stock motor from blowing up with no mods.
