If you like running all over mustangs so much why dont you meet every mustang owner in the US and race them so the ones who get nut sore over you beating one of their brotheren can take a shot at you so as to properly remove the sand from the clams between their legs.

Seriously its sad when Mustang guys are sore losers and they werent even in the race. Let the man tell his story and give him props for beating a slower car.

I dont go on Mustang forums and call out people from across the country that I can beat because they chewed up a 3rd Gen 305. Be mature people.

Anyways, Good Kill. My first kill ever in my car was against a manual 94-95 5.0. The guy talked crap all week at work after I got my car, he had gears, Nitto's, exhaust, intake and a few other small things. I should have taken the bet he offered but I only had my car for a week. He got the jump on me off the line, but I pulled right pass when I hit second and never looked back. Not bad for a completely stock LT1.

Keep the Mustang kills coming. I have some in every generation since the foxbody, I really want to get a 05 GT.

First of all my post isnt really even directed to you, which shows how vain your response was. I didnt even see a problem with your post.

Second, I want to get a 2005 GT on an open highway to add to the kill list, not to purchase.

Third, where is he being soo arrogant? Saying he likes to "run over mustangs"? Sure I like to beat mustangs too, I like beating rice more, but mustangs are more of a challenge. I dont think any normal person should take great offense to that comment. Its probably the same thing mustang owners say on their forums, but I still wouldnt get pissed about it. This is a F-body site, let the guy speak proudly of his car and race.

Forth, Yes you have a right to post here, I never said anything about anyone not having a right to. But please refer to the first point.

Fifth, Of course his **** is fast. Fast compared to the mustang he ran, yes. Thats why he beat him. Fast compared to a Z06, no. So what he killed a mustang get over it guys it happens all the time.

I believe his post was directed at me. Nevertheless, I will also type what I feel and never sugar coat my remarks. I just fiqured if someone didn't bring him down a notch with his "I love running over mustangs" and their transmissions suck....(what was that about?) then he was going to get embarassed as soon as he found the wrong stang. I wasn't mad, I just think he needs to race a few more cars (not another 95 stang) before he labels himself "a Mustang Killer". lol

Mustangs, especially older ones are not the quickest vehicles and a decent running LT1 could for a the most part go a while before being trumped. That happens with anything though.

Out of the box, Mustang automatics have sucked for years...nothing new to anyone here that knows anything about them. If the guy in the Mustang had a 5 speed...well then he does not know what he is talking about then.

 

Come on guys he does deserve his props on the kill. He did something that we all love to do and it seems like he got a little exited about posting up on the board. When you get a kill it does feel damn good and props should be given on it. And yes it was just a 5.0 gt but still a kill is a kill none the less, run what you brung no excuses.
On another note " its not a v6 its an lt1" a little cliche dont you think. I can just imagine seeing your pride there in your eyes.
but good kill.

 

Got a point there, everybody knows, the stock older stangs' are underpowered and got stomped on by a LT1 but don't mess with the machs or cobras unless u are willing to put some mods on yourself or are aware that with a good driver a 2000+ mach and or a cobra can and quite possible would win. Moral of the story making such broad generalizations is "arrogant" and hard to back up. Needless to say, happy racing everyone, long live mustang camaro rivalry

 

I only said i Love running over mustangs is because they are worse than ricers around here. That's all anybody wants. There are tons of them. I love when i beat them. And yeah I have my A$$ handed to me a bout 4 times by a new GT. I always try to race anybody and anything. I have a lot of new kill and alot of got killed stories. I havent been back on this website because of christmas. Working alot and trying to get some family time in and trying to get a little hunting in this season.

Maybe I came off as an a$$hole but that was not my intention. I agree that any V-8 mustang is a good kill and the same goes with any kill on a V-8 F-body. I did think that his cockiness (is that a word?) was a bit much considering the opponent he was killing can be killed by almost any v-6 sedan on the road now. Good kill! Poor choice of words! I'm sure at some point years ago while telling my earlier kill stories I was given a reality check by an older member. I was just trying to educate him before he gets taken to school.

 

LOL guys, this is a Camaro board and there's bound to be a little Mustang bashing now & then. I always enjoyed making fools out of the ones that thought "GT" meant "fastest car on the road".. and almost everyone will agree that the autos they stuck in the Mustangs are pretty lame. Just because I enjoy "running over Mustangs" doesn't mean I think I can beat them all or that they're all junk ( well, I really do think they're junk, but I feel the same way about my car )

Anyway no offense intended to anyone just trying to make a point.

 

Sad thing is, car manufacturers will use the "GT" labeling on just about any car now.. and most of them are slow as hell For example, a Hyundai Tibouron GT?
