Smile Had fun with mustang.

Well I am sitting inside gamestop(where i work) and we are closing down for the night. I look out the window and all these people are sitting out there with a bunch of mustangs,camaros,civis and a few others. Anyways we leave and I go sit in the formula waiting on my friend to get there. My friend arives and he gets in the car because we are going to go riding. A white 95 mustang pulls up next to me and rolls his window down. He told me i had a nice car and i returned the complemint. Well he asked if I wanted to race while he was reving up his motor. I said yeah and he starts powerbraking it. He stops and asked me if i think that my v6 could keep up. I rev my car to around 35000 rpms where it starts shaking. I said it aint no v6 it's a lt1. So we fially make it to a red light no one around. The light turns green and he floors it. As do I. My back tires get good traction and I take of Like a bat out of H***. I had about 4 car lenghts on him by 65 mph.

I love running over mustangs. Cause everyone know ford transmissions suck.

Good Kill, A 95 GT needs a good number of mods to hang w/ a LT1, especially an auto.

I think outcome was due to hp or lack there of in the 95 GT 5.0. I'm guessing you have a good 50+ ponies on him. The transmission was not a factor. Seriously though, if you love running over mustangs you outta come over this way and try your luck.

And "I love running over mustangs" is not arrogant? It's all in fun but some of these younger guys need a reality check.

Not to mention your sig says,

Mods= Flowmaster muffler (No Cats)

Didn't 94 LT1's only have one cat to begin with?

I sure hope the "few other goodies you mentioned might include things like LT headers, CAI, gears, torque converter (if you have an auto), suspension upgrades, RR, heads, cam, tune, ect, ect.

I could be wrong but I don't think too many people slap superchargers on pretty much stock LT1's.

I'm just busting your chops. Good kill on the stang. But I would seriously start modding your car with the basic bolt-ons first. With stock heads and exhaust manifold still in place, your car is struggling to breath. LT headers alone will make a night and day difference (especially after a tune). The supercharger will always be there. But if you go with a good heads and cam package then you may not even want one anymore.

Have fun and stay safe.
