No...it won't run anywhere near 140mph with 634rwhp at or near full weight. Drop a few hundred pounds out and it might.
More likely, it would run in the low-mid 130's (my bet would be 132-133mph), which is still impressive considering how easy it is to get 550-650rwhp out of an '03/'04 Cobra.
If the Z hooks, and the Cobra driver panics and blows them off through 1 and 2nd gear...he might have trouble catching him.
Personally, I'd just try to keep within a few cars until I could get to third gear, then suck his headlights out. You can drive them on the street on radials with that kind of power, you just have to be patient.
A lil' set of 275/40 MT DR's...and it would be "game over".

Were not talking 8 second car here in regard to what 120 rwhp will do to trap speed. A low 11 second car @ 126 mph is not going to only gain 6-7 mph with a 120+ rwhp gain.

IMO, it should run in the 135-136 mph range...140 mph was another car I was playing #'s with.

I don't see from a dead dig the Cobra being even close knowing how low it sits, the low profile tires, the gearing, the instant boost when compared to a car that should be able to leave with almost everything it has...at least not on the street.

It might run close to 135mph.
A friend of mine with a KB making 620rwhp ran 129-130mph (ET Streets).
Another with a Whipple making 600rwhp ran 128-129mph (MT DR's).
I do know of one car making 600rwhp on Whipple that ran near 132mph (131.7) on an 18" tire.
Without seeing the guy drive, it's hard to say how he'll get out. While the boost is instant, it's not like turbo (on or off) so you can feather the gas and pedal the car a bit.

Pretty crazy how easy it is to put these cars at that level so easily.

Yeah, other the than the initial cost...they are actually cheap to mod to get some stout power.
