Got this video from another board and thought id share...
Both guys are local, though im not sure what cam is in the LS1, but i do no its not a real small cam. But the civic is pushing 15#'s, even though its broke at the moment

think i saw that civic in a previous video, had pull from a roll, but got roasted BAD off the line

 

i think he got the jump on the ss. It seemed to stay pretty good maybe even catch up a bit. Either way thats a quick civic.

It looks like the SS wasn't racing....

The SS was racing...trust me. The civic made 380 to the wheels.

I had a turbo honda delsol race me once from a roll and second from a stop . From a stop I killed it by 4-5 cars, from a roll we stayed about even. .This is when my camaro was a young pup with just a few mods.

Yeah - from a roll that Civic doesn't have to worry about trying to get a FWD hook or its lack of low end grunt.

 

the camaro was a v6 with ss stickers and it was brabably a bad driver that was granny shifting

 

Oh god dont start the it was a V6 b.s. when in the other vid you can watch him walk a TT supra from a roll.

The video said it was a cam & Bolt-on SS and your title says H/C. I'm thinking this was a cam only car and probably a small cam like a 222/222 114 or something emission friendy like that. Good race but I would rather see them race at a 1/4 mile track and from a dig.

good song in there but i would've rather just heard the honks so i could know when the race started
after watching it a 2nd time, i think i saw when they started, though it's not absolutely clear
